Top night New Years Eve, first time I've seen you as a four piece, and it was very good. The set was a good mix to suit all tastes. Well what can I say that hasn't been said before..... Ok, so I have seen them more than a couple of times & in some people's eyes I might be considered a groupie (which I'm not-honest!) but these guys do 'rock' like you have never seen before! If you want a great entertaining night then check STRAIGHT LIFE out, believe me you won't be disappointed!!! You will have the night of your life! Keep Rocking Guys! Hope to see you again in 2009! Was out at my local, Ye Olde Red Lion in Apsley, last Friday night and was intrigued to see a band new to my ears. Don't know much about Straight Life, but as an act, they really made the place rock! A multi-tasking lead singer alternated on keyboards, guitar & tambourine and really kept the show going. Solid rhythm playing supported the lead guitarist's blinding solo work. I really enjoyed their performances of The Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again" & Cheap Trick's "I Want You To Want Me". Good use of stage lighting & that damned fine smoke machine too...! Thoroughly recommend anyone to go and see them, whenever they're not seeing my own band, Bad Wolf! Well done guys! Mark.
